Why I do it & FAQ's
Here's a little history for the children and new comers and late bloomers that haven't been following since the beginning of this dinghy. so if you prefer to indulge with me i can explain. I will be\am realizing a bicycle adventure from Portland, Maine to Eureka, California perhaps. maybe more. depends.
Now I'm not doing this for charity, or politics, or drugs, or work, or to fill up my tank (well maybe that can be a plan B), or World Peace Sells but who's Brian?, or for any of that. It's something that needs to get done. When I was 11 my family and I pedalled 1700 miles to Canada from Globe Arizona. That was 10 years ago so a nice little ten year anniversary would be going from coast to coast. Now I didn't want to go alone so I had this friend named Ben who is a backstabber that wanted\wants to go with me., and to make a short story all long, he chose not to. So I was in a prolem. I needed people to go with me before the responsibilities begin to pile up IE, job, school, ladies, car, nintendo, job...so we developed the plan to leave right after we got done serving our 2 year missions. to just enjoy it THEN get on with life with a good jump start. that was the plan anyways....
Now I'm free to take questions: yes you....Why Maine? well you see in the summer in Arizona or anywhere in the south is an inferno. and by the time we'd get up north to the coast it would be freezing cold and be almost like quides. So we figured we'd start up north in the Maine area where it would be nice of time to ride then by the time we'd finish in the south it would be fall and not be that cold. so that answers that question.
Next one, yes you...Why bicycles? It's fun and better than hiking, but not as fast as a car. It also requires work something you don't know how to do.
Yes you. How much will it cost? N/A It's worth every dang penny i'll tell you that much.
Other question...How did you get the funds to do it? yes well, I had an excellent job before the mission where I was Rodman of the Year and the Beast won Truck of the Year and Mitch is Crew of Year Chief the. so yes.
Ok who else? Do you have any conceivable reason for even getting up in the morning? I like to get the daily news. Alright and that puts an end to this Q's and A's. you'll have to tune in to the next Late Nights with K-MAN.
